Advantages of the Airzone zones system1| Compliance with RITE and CTE Regulations The new thermal Installation Regulations for Buildings (RITE), and the new Technical Building Code (CTE), make zoning systems obligatory, in order to ensure the user's comfort and a rational use of electricity. The responsibility for complying with this regulation is shared by the owner of the site, the design engineer, the project manager and any other person or company involved in implementing the installation. View the RITE in full2| Integration The Airzone zone-based systems can integrate the heating and air conditioning systems into a single system, controlling them by a single thermostat per zone. The system as a whole not only reduces the number of user interfaces in the installation, but also makes the best use of each of the installed appliances, to provide the user with maximum comfort levels while reducing energy costs to the minimum. All this is combined with good design and elegant style. Additionally, through its integration gateways, Airzone has achieved a high level of integration between its systems and air conditioning units. And lastly, it is possible to integrate these systems with home or building automation systems.3| Energy efficiency and savings A rational use of energy is now essential, since energy resources are limited. To achieve this, the Government, through the IDAE (Institute for Energy Diversification and Savings) and the Governments of the Autonomous Regions, has developed programmes of incentives and/or financial assistance for renovating installations to improve energy efficiency. Airzone, with its zoning systems, facilitates access to this type of grant. For example, the difference in energy consumption between a conventional ducted installation and a zoned system can be as much as 53%. For a 3-bedroom home in the Madrid area, this translates into a difference of about 400€ a year in energy costs. 4| Increased comfort levels A system that is not zone-based cannot allow users to set different temperatures for each zone in the installation. Some zones will therefore be outside the range of comfortable temperatures for as much as 60% of the time for which they are used. With a zone-based system, all the zones in the installation are within the chosen comfort range for 100% of the time for which they are used. 5| Experts in air conditioning Airzone's experience during over 12 years in the market ensures our extensive knowledge, high quality products and high degree of differentiation from the competition. Our specification, R&D, and post-sales services are available for the different stages of the product's lifetime. Airzone manufactures 70% of the zoning systems installed in Spain, and exports a third of its sales to the countries served by its offices in Europe and the Arab Emirates. |
